None of the new heat-not-burn products launched by these three companies is compatible with their existing pods or pods from third-party companies.

On February 20, according to Korean media reports, since the end of last year, KT&G, PMI, and BAT have successively launched new heat-not-burn products and promoted exclusive unique pods with higher prices at the same time.

The new products launched by these three companies are not compatible with their existing pods or pods from third-party companies.

With the launch of the Glo Hyper X2, BAT has released four exclusive pods. The brand name of the pod is still Neo, but the length and thickness of the pods are different from the past, so the consumer cannot pair the new pods with the existing Glow Pro Slim.

PMI Korea's new product, IQOS ILUMA, is also incompatible with the pod Hits from the previous device, IQOS Duo 3. Instead, ILUMA must use the exclusive pod Teria.

When BAT and PMI launched new products, they increased the price of pods from 4,500 won (about 23.8 yuan) to 4,800 won (about 25.4 yuan).

Regarding KT&G's existing product Lil Hybrid, pods are 4,500 won (approximately RMB 23.8), and the average price is 5,000 won (about RMB 26.5) each. This new product raises the price of a rod to 4,800 won (approximately RMB 25.4) without the pod.
