In the latest Nielsen convenience store data analysis, the market share gap between Vuse and Juul e-cigarette products has widened to a super double-digit lead for Vuse.

Vuse's market share rose to 39.7 percent from 39 percent in the previous report, while Juul's dropped to 28.1 percent from 29.4 percent.

Vuse also now leads Juul with 32.9 percent and 32.7 percent year-over-year increases, the first time Vuse has led in a year-over-year comparison.

According to Barclays, Nielsen primarily covers large chains. The potential for an outright ban on Juul e-cigarettes on U.S. retail shelves has reportedly accelerated market share growth for the Vuse brand.

Meanwhile, third-ranked NJoy declined from 2.9% to 2.8%. 4-week dollar sales for Juul in the latest report have declined from 50.2% in the August 10, 2019 report to 17.7% in the latest report.

In comparison, Vuse was up 41.4% in the latest report, while NJoy was down 5.6% and blueCigs was down to 30.2%.
