On July 7th, the Ukraine Department of Consumer Services issued a directive imposing stringent regulations on the use of tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes. The directive will come into effect on July 11th.
The provisions include:
- A ban on flavor additives for e-cigarettes, such as fruit or menthol flavors.
- Bottled vape juice cannot exceed a capacity of 10 milliliters.
- Disposable e-cigarettes or cartridges cannot exceed a capacity of 2 milliliters.
- Nicotine concentration cannot exceed 2%.
In addition to these measures, the bill imposes a ban on the use of both electronic cigarettes and traditional cigarettes in public places. Violators of this ban may face fines of up to 50,000 hryvnias (approximately $1,362.77 USD).

The aim of these regulations is to control the use of tobacco and e-cigarette products, ensuring public health and safety in Ukraine. The implementation of these measures reflects the government's attitude towards the potential risks associated with smoking and vaping.
