Grammy-nominated Wiz Khalifa was in Pittsburgh and Washington County on December 12 promoting not music, but his newest business venture: medical marijuana - since recreational marijuana use is currently illegal in Pennsylvania, his recreational brand could not make it a step further.
Wiz developed his brand Khalifa Kush in the early 2010s in California and claimed to have tailored the tastes according to his preference.

There are currently 21 states where recreational cannabis is legal, while Pennsylvania is not on the list. Wiz, a Pittsburgh native, says he's "moving and grooving" to lobby more states to legalize marijuana use as he has been doing for over a decade. In June 2015, Wiz was fined for drug possession charges, while he uploaded a selfie in prison, which went viral on the internet.
