Japan Tobacco Launches Nationwide Sale of Ploom AURA and EVO Set at Half Price—Limited Offer for Around $9
Japan Tobacco (JT) launched its new heated tobacco device Ploom AURA and premium stick brand EVO nationwide on July 1. Ploom AURA, using HEAT SELECT SYSTEM technology, is available for a limited time at ¥1,480 (about $9).

【2Firsts news flash】According to the Japan Tobacco official website on June 30, JT will launch its new heated tobacco device "Ploom AURA" and dedicated tobacco stick "EVO" nationwide starting on July 1, 2025. This national release will include major convenience stores and some tobacco specialty stores.

 

To celebrate the nationwide release, the Ploom AURA starter kit will have a limited-time discount from July 1st to August 17th, with the price reduced from the original 2,980 yen (approximately $18) (tax included) to 1,480 yen (approximately $9) (tax included). This promotion applies to JT online store, nationwide Ploom specialty stores, and specified sales channels.

The Ploom AURA is equipped with "SMART HEATFLOW" intelligent heating technology. Additionally, the device supports the "HEAT SELECT SYSTEM" with four heating modes that users can choose based on their preferences. EVO is Japan Tobacco's first high-end heated tobacco pod brand, launched alongside the device. 

 

Japan Tobacco has reported that after the pre-sale on May 27, the Ploom AURA and EVO have received positive feedback from users, with both products setting a record for the highest sales in JT's history during the trial period.
