At least 7 students from Marta Donoso Espejo High School in Chile suffered a major marijuana poisoning incident after consuming alfajores.

According to a report on October 31st by biobiochile from Chile, a large-scale poisoning incident occurred recently at Marta Donoso Espejo High School in the Talca area of Chile. At least seven students were sent to multiple medical institutions after consuming alfajores, a traditional South American sweet treat, which was found to contain marijuana.

 

A student involved in the incident, who was selling marijuana on campus, has been arrested by the police and taken to the third police station in Tarka. It is worth noting that the school involved is located in the city center of Tarka, and this incident has somewhat revealed a significant negligence in the local campus drug prohibition efforts.
