According to VAPORESSO's official website and recently published product information, the vaping brand introduced the PRIX MTL pod system in August 2026. The device comes in Filter and NFC versions, with the NFC model combining interchangeable magnetic panels with NFC interaction to trigger matching on-screen animations, while the Filter model offers both conventional drip-tip and filter-tip configurations. VAPORESSO's currently available official materials do not specify an exact global launch date.

Filter and NFC Versions Give Interchangeable Panels Different Roles

PRIX features interchangeable magnetic panels and is offered with Chrome, White and Black base finishes. VAPORESSO also displays a range of panel designs, including Chrome, Black, White, Metal Heart, Retro Sign and Red Racing.

The platform is divided into two versions with different functions.

The Filter version allows users to switch between a Drip Tip and Filter Tip. VAPORESSO positions the Filter Tip as an option designed to provide a cigarette-like feel, while the Drip Tip provides a conventional vaping configuration.

The NFC version integrates the interchangeable panel into the device's digital interaction. According to VAPORESSO, switching compatible NFC panels unlocks corresponding animations on the display. The company describes the feature as an “Industry-First NFC Animated Panel,” a claim attributed to VAPORESSO.

As a result, the interchangeable panel serves more than a cosmetic function on the NFC version, linking a physical accessory with the device's on-screen content.

One Dual Mesh Pod, Two Output Configurations

Another distinguishing feature of PRIX is its Dual Mesh Impact Pod system.

Two pod configurations are listed:

0.3/0.6Ω Dual Mesh Impact Pod

•  PWR Mode: 0.6Ω at 25W.

0.4/0.8Ω Dual Mesh Impact Pod

Rather than operating at a single fixed resistance and output, each pod can therefore provide two configurations depending on the selected mode. VAPORESSO describes the concept as “One Pod, Two Experiences.”

PRIX also provides EASY and PRO interfaces. PRO uses a landscape interface and allows wattage adjustment in 0.5W increments, while EASY uses a portrait interface and allows users to switch between IMPACT and PWR.

The device supports auto-draw activation, button activation, or both.

2,600mAh Battery and Up to 40W Output

PRIX measures 20.3 × 41.9 × 104.5mm and features an integrated 2,600mAh battery with a maximum output of 40W. Charging is provided through USB Type-C at 5V/2A.

VAPORESSO claims a full charge can be completed in approximately 45 minutes. Actual charging time may vary depending on the power source, operating environment and battery condition.

The device uses a 5.5ml top-filling pod and features a 0.87-inch TFT display.

VAPORESSO also says PRIX uses upgraded CF 2.0 cotton and claims that a single pod can handle approximately 60ml of e-liquid. These longevity and performance figures are manufacturer claims rather than results from independent third-party testing.

PRIX Extends Personalization From Appearance to Device Interaction

Interchangeable panels are not new to vaping devices, but the PRIX NFC version extends the concept by linking physical panels with digital content on the device.

Instead of changing only the material, pattern or color of the exterior, compatible PRIX panels can also alter the animation displayed on the screen.

The Filter version takes a different approach to differentiation, using interchangeable mouthpiece options to address the MTL experience.

VAPORESSO is therefore using a common PRIX hardware platform to support two distinct propositions: the Filter version focuses on mouthpiece and usage format, while the NFC version focuses on visual customization and digital interaction.

Available information indicates that PRIX has entered the product-launch and retail rollout stage, although availability varies by market and retailer. VAPORESSO has not published a unified global rollout schedule.
