【2Firsts News Flash】According to a report by Prachachat Business on July 14, the secretary of the Thai Prime Minister revealed that the government is about to release its achievements in various areas, including cracking down on illegal e-cigarettes. He emphasized that public relations work needs to be adjusted according to public demand and will make greater use of artificial intelligence to assist in communication.
Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej, Secretary General to the Prime Minister, stated after the meeting that the purpose of the conference was to showcase government achievements, with a focus on banning e-cigarettes. He acknowledged that there have been shortcomings in communication by the government and noted the need to adjust the way information is conveyed to ensure that the public hears what they want to hear.
During the announcement of the results, the government will be applying more artificial intelligence. Dr. Pulumingo emphasized that artificial intelligence is one of the important policies, and experts have collaborated with the private sector to ensure that the public can benefit from it. The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation will work together to advance this process.
Regarding communication methods, Dr. Puroming stated that the government will adjust its strategy to better convey the information that the public is concerned about.
