Ban on Production, Import, Marketing, Sale, and Use of E-cigarettes in Bangladesh
Bangladeshi rights organization, Law and Life Foundation Trust, has requested a ban on e-cigarettes in Bangladesh, targeting production, import, and marketing.

According to a report from the Dhaka Forum newspaper in Bangladesh on November 14, lawyer Mohammad Humayun Kabir, representing the Law and Life Foundation Trust, a human rights organization in the country, issued a legal notice to various departments, including the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, on November 13, urging the ban of production, import, marketing, sale, and use of e-cigarettes in Bangladesh.

 

Meanwhile, social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Daraz have been asked to cease the commercialization of e-cigarettes.
