On July 31, based on the data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, 2FIRSTS compiled statistics on the export situation of e-cigarettes from China for the period of January to June.
During the first six months of 2023, China's e-cigarette export volume reached $5.482 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 29.2%, accounting for 55.45% of the total export volume in 2022.
During the first half of 2023, the total weight of e-cigarette exports reached approximately 104,000 tons, marking a year-on-year growth of 54.3%. This figure represents 63.7% of the total export volume for the entirety of 2022.
Among them, the highest month for e-cigarette exports was April, with approximately 1.034 billion US dollars; the highest month for export volume was May, with approximately 20,100 tons.
