According to Oriental Tobacco News, on August 27, Liu Sanjiang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy administrator of China’s State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA), met in Beijing with Michele Cattoni, Chief Global Research & Development Officer at Philip Morris International (PMI), and his delegation. The two sides held cordial talks.

Representatives from the STMA General Office (Foreign Affairs Department), its Department of Science and Technology, the China Tobacco Society and other relevant organizations attended the meeting.
