CLEW, a US nicotine pouch brand, launches products in Egypt to reduce harm associated with combustible tobacco.

According to PR Newswire on December 18th, American nicotine pouch brand CLEW announced the launch of its nicotine pouch products in Egypt.

 

The CEO of CLEW, Waqas Khan, stated that

 

The launch of CLEW in Egypt is an important step in popularizing harm reduction products worldwide. At the 2024 World Tobacco Asia exhibition, we showcased how products like CLEW nicotine pouches make a significant contribution to reducing the harms associated with combustible tobacco. We are delighted to bring these benefits to consumers in Egypt.

 

In June 2024, it was reported that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had accepted the Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) from CLEW.
