On February 23, VPR Brands LP, parent of a vape brand "ELF" sued Shenzhen Weiboli Technology Co.Ltd., ELFBAR's founder company, for trademark infringement, with Weiboli, lost the lawsuit.
As a result, ELFBAR was banned from marketing throughout the United States.
According to public information, Shenzhen Weiboli is a 100% holding company of ELFBAR's parent company, Heaven Gift International Limited.
At 16:00 on February 25, US Western Time (8:00 Beijing time), 2Firsts Washington Press Center staff, David, interviewed Alex, the ELFBAR's North American public relations manager, at the TPE exhibition.
Alex acknowledged that ELFBAR lost the case and said that ELFBAR would launch a new name in the United States in March, EB Design, but continue to retain the original logo pattern. Therefore, this TPE exhibition is the last time to use the name ELFBAR to participate in the exhibition.
The initials of ELFBAR are "E" and "B," which may be the origin of the name of EB Design.
When 2Firsts staff David asked about whether the name change would affect ELFBAR's US market, Alex said that suppliers and distributors of ELFBAR in the US market are aware of this and are prepared, so it will not affect the ELFBAR market. At the same time, ELFBAR's strategic goal of focusing on the United States will not be changed.
