First Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens in Biloxi, Mississippi
Mississippi's first medical marijuana dispensary has opened with only flower forms available and edible and concentrate products coming later.

The first medical marijuana dispensary has opened in Biloxi, Mississippi. Customers were already waiting outside the dispensary doors before it opened at 9am.


The pharmacy only has cannabis in flower form. Edible cannabis and concentrates (such as electronic cigarette products) will be available for purchase in approximately four to six weeks.


At present, sales are only accepting cash payments.


John Jordan is not only a patient, but also a grower for Kind Life, a company based in Pascoag. He stated, "I couldn't be more excited for patients who have been patiently waiting for relief in forms other than medication. We're thrilled for Coastal Capital Pharmacy and I know they've been waiting patiently for months, so I'm even more thrilled for those guys. I'm also extremely happy for the state.
