French Cigarette Price to be Higher in 2023

Cigarette prices in France have remained largely stable over the past two years. However, the price of cigarettes in France will increase with inflation in 2023. Earlier, French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne revealed the news in an interview with BFMTV media.


After the approval of this cigarette price increase, according to the French social security financing bill (PLFSS), it is expected that the price of each pack of cigarettes in France will increase by 50 euro cents in 2023 and 35 euro cents in 2024, and the minimum price per pack will reach 11 euros.
