Compared to 2022, the sales volume increased by 40 percent. Other estimates even put sales at around eight million pieces per month.
The extreme fast growth of disposable sales have made environmental institutions, such as The Federal Association of the German Waste Management Industry and Nature Conservation Association, to speak in favor of banning the disposable e-cigarettes.
