2FIRSTS interviewed GREEN SOUND’s Eason Liu. He said that export-oriented vaporization enterprises should support the new regulatory policy, and a perfect regulatory policy represents a new beginning for an industry.

On June 15, 2022, the "2022 6th E-Cigarette Industry Standard and Compliance Conference and the E-Cigarette Export Trade Development Conference" hosted by the ECCC was held in Shenzhen Baoan, JW Marriott Hotel. During the conference, 2FIRSTS was able to interview Eason Liu from  GREEN SOUND. He said that export-oriented vaporization enterprises should support the new regulatory policy, and a perfect regulatory policy represents a new beginning for an industry.

Rewind the clock to 2009. In that year, Huang Guihua, the chairman of GREEN SOUND, was still working in foreign trade in Guangzhou. A foreign client found her wanting to buy "fake cigarettes" in China. After in-depth research, Huang Guihua found that the new vapoization industry has great potential. So, using the resources from the previous foreign trade partners from Japan and South Korea, Huang Guihua's team resolutely decided to start their own business, and GREEN SOUND was officially established. Co-founded by Korean engineer Mr. Kim and senior technical experts in the country, focusing on product development, production, and sales in the electronic cigarette equipment.

So far, GREEN SOUND has 10,000 square meter production workshop and a 1,000 square meter business office area. From the production of spare parts to the quality inspection after assembly of the whole machine, more than 80% of the processes are completed independently, capable of the whole supply chain system.

Mastering the Core Technology, GREEN SOUND Starts From Raw Material

How do we make a product perfect? The answer given by GREEN SOUND is: starting from the beginning, Eason Liu told it to 2FIRSTS: "GREEN SOUND starts R&D from the raw material, especially in the aspect of vaporizer, because the core technology of electronic cigarette equipment comes from fog. It is essential to have a good vaporizer to produce a good products. Then, we will make more layouts in R&D, innovation, and branding, before going overseas.”

In today's fiercely competitive environment, it is necessary to enhance the core competitiveness in many aspects. In this regard, Eason Liu believes: "We must master the core technology of products starting from the raw material. In the future, our products will be more towards intelligent equipment automation. Planning for the future, we will build an upgraded version of the unmanned workshop. This is the first point. After the product is upgraded, we will upgrade the manufacturing process. The second point is our production environment. The factory adopts the ISO9001 and GMP820 dual quality system management system, and the factory strictly implements 5S management standards. The production workshop strictly requires personnel to wear clean clothes, wash hands, disinfect and dust off in the air shower before entering. The production environment meets the standard of GMP 100,000-level clean workshop. ”

Prediction, the Industry is About to Usher in a New Beginning of Orderly Compliance

When talking about GREEN SOUND’s product planning based on the introduction of the new national standard, Eason Liu said: "In fact, the new national standard is nothing more than a few core points, one is how to make the product healthier, and the other is how to improve the quality and experience. It is to experience a different way of ingesting nicotine, but without deviating from ones smoking environment. This is what we focused on creating. For example, on the material, we have invested a lot of manpower and material resources in preliminary research. Just in order to achieve a breakthrough in research and development from zero to one." As an excellent enterprise of Shenzhen's old-fashioned electronic cigarette equipment, GREEN SOUND continues to carry out technical progress. All in line to comply with the trend of compliance development in China and the world.

With the improvement of domestic regulatory policies, what opportunities will it bring to the development of the entire electronic cigarette equipment industry? In this regard, Eason Liu said: "The introduction of a sound regulatory policy does not mean the end of an industry. It just proves that the industry has just begun, and that the electronic cigarette industry has begun to develop from disorderly and chaotic to gradually a compliant and orderly one."
