2Firsts, December 2025,24 – According to Vesti.kg, the Kyrgyz government has extended its ban on the import of electronic cigarettes and nicotine-containing liquids.
The Cabinet of Ministers said the relevant decree was signed by its chairman, Adylbek Kasymaliev. Under the decision, the import of electronic cigarettes, integrated nicotine delivery systems containing nicotine liquid, and nicotine liquids intended for use in e-cigarettes is prohibited for a further six months.
The ban covers nicotine liquids contained in cartridges, reservoirs and other containers, classified under the Eurasian Economic Union’s commodity code 2404 12 000 0.
Kyrgyzstan had previously introduced a six-month ban on e-cigarette imports in July. The latest decision was made as the original restriction period was nearing its end.
