MHRA Responds to Investigate into PMI's Unregistered Vapes
MHRA responded to 2FIRSTS that they will look into this issue.

In response to the issue of 'Philip Morris International (PMI)'s disposable product VEEBA not being registered with MHRA', we have received a response from the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). They stated:

On May 29, 2FIRSTS learned through the MHRA's official website that PMI's disposable e-cigarette brand VEEBA, which was launched in the UK, has not been registered with MHRA.

According to the requirements of the UK regulatory department, all e-cigarettes and e-liquids entering the market must be registered with MHRA before they can be listed. This registration can be carried out by the brand, distributor, transporter, etc. PMI's e-cigarette brands VEEV, VEEV NOW, VEEV ONE are on the registration list, but there is no registration information for the disposable e-cigarette brand VEEBA.

It is understood that the registered VEEV is a cartridge replacement e-cigarette, VEEV NOW is a disposable e-cigarette, and VEEV ONE is a rechargeable device.

At the same time, 2FIRSTS did not find any VEEV NOW related products through public channels, but VEEBA and VEEV NOW products look extremely similar, suggesting that they might have registered under the VEEV NOW brand, but are selling under the VEEBA brand.
