Nabil Sakkab to Step Down as Altria Board Member
Nabil Sakkab, a board member of Altria, will step down at the end of his term, as announced on October 25th.

According to a statement on the official website of Archer, Nabil Sakkab, a member of Altria's board of directors, will step down after the current term. Therefore, he will not seek re-election as a board member at Altria's annual shareholders meeting expected to be held on May 16, 2024. 

 

Kathryn McQuade, the independent chair of Archer's board of directors, said, "Nabil has made significant contributions to Archer over the past 15 years. We appreciate his long and outstanding service and wish him all the best in his retirement." 

 

Nabil is the chairman of Altria's Innovation Committee and a member of the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, the Nomination Committee, and the Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility Committee. He held various positions at Procter & Gamble starting from 1974. In November 2007, he retired as Senior Vice President of the company's Research & Development Division. He serves as a director for multiple private holding companies. He served as a director at Deinove (Euronext Growth Paris: ALDEI) from 2010 to April 2016, at Givaudan SA (SWX: GIVN) from 2008 to March 2015, and at Pharnext (Euronext Growth Paris: ALPHA) from 2012 to July 2020.
