Philip Morris International (PMI) has unveiled the VEEV One Plus, the latest addition to its closed-pod vaping portfolio. Publicly available information shows that the device has been listed on the official VEEV website in Portugal, where PMI has published product specifications alongside an official comparison with the current VEEV One, marking the next hardware upgrade for the VEEV platform.
Hardware Upgrades Focus on User Experience
Compared with the current VEEV One, the VEEV One Plus retains the brand’s closed-pod ecosystem while introducing several hardware enhancements aimed at improving portability, battery life and everyday usability.
According to PMI, the new device is equipped with a 720mAh battery and delivers up to approximately 1,100 puffs per charge. It continues to use Compact Ceramic™ heating technology and remains fully compatible with existing VEEV One prefilled pods, allowing current users to upgrade without changing pod formats.

The most notable addition is the new Swap & Store feature, which enables users to carry and store a second VEEV One pod inside the device. The design allows users to switch between flavors more conveniently without carrying an additional pod separately.
The official product page also lists three color options—Gold, Purple and Midnight Blue—while retaining draw-activated operation and the closed-pod device architecture.

Rollout Progresses Across European Markets
Publicly available information indicates that VEEV One Plus is entering multiple European markets through different rollout schedules.
In Portugal, the device has been added to the official VEEV website with product information and purchasing options, indicating that it has entered PMI’s official sales portfolio.
In France, vape retailer CigaretteElec has published a dedicated product page and says the device is expected to become available through its retail channel in mid-July 2026, with a recommended retail price of €9.99 for the battery device only.
In Germany, Fabio Corsaro, Head of Marketing and Purchasing at vape distributor MG Wesel GmbH, wrote in a LinkedIn post that PMI plans to introduce VEEV One Plus to the German market, with distribution expected to begin between July 8 and July 10, 2026. He also noted that Electric Purple was among the first publicly revealed color options, while additional colors had yet to be disclosed at the time. As of publication, PMI has not released a separate official announcement regarding the product’s rollout in Germany.
Taken together, the currently available public information suggests that VEEV One Plus has begun entering several European markets, with launch timing varying by country and distribution channel.
2Firsts Insight
PMI has continued expanding its smoke-free product portfolio in recent years, with VEEV becoming an increasingly important pillar of its vaping business alongside the IQOS heated tobacco platform.
Rather than introducing a new pod ecosystem, VEEV One Plus builds on the existing VEEV One platform by retaining pod compatibility while upgrading battery performance, device convenience and hardware design. The approach lowers the upgrade barrier for existing users and reflects a broader industry trend in which manufacturers focus on refining user experience through incremental hardware improvements instead of replacing established product ecosystems.
