2Firsts, reporting from Shenzhen - Weike Technology (301196.SZ) recently responded to an investor inquiry regarding the application of its PEEK materials in artificial skin and the latest updates.

 

The company stated that it has established stable and mature production processes for PEEK material design, manufacturing, and processing. The material is primarily used in e-cigarettes, industrial printer heads, medical sterilization diagnostic equipment, and lead screws, with mass production already underway. 

 

The company has not provided the latest updates on its developments.

New Russian Law Comes Into Effect: Unlabeled Nicotine Products in Circulation Could Face Up to Three Years in Prison
From August 3, 2025, Russia's new law penalizes unlabeled nicotine products, including e-liquids. Offenders may face fines up to 500,000 rubles ($5,000), forced labor, or up to three years in prison with an extra 120,000 rubles ($1,200) fine. Violations over 100,000 rubles ($1,000) are large-scale, over 1,000,000 rubles ($10,000) are especially large-scale.

Wisconsin Set to Ban Non-FDA Approved Vapes Starting September, Court Ruling Pending
Wisconsin is planning to prohibit the sale of all vape products that have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) starting September 1. At present, WISCOFAST, a non-profit trade association formed by vape shop owners, has filed a lawsuit against the state government in an attempt to block the law from taking effect. The court is expected to rule later this week on whether the ban will be enforced.
