The Russian Center for Research in Perspective Technologies (CRPT) announced that all preparations to start mandatory labeling of electronic cigarettes and liquids are done and the system is ready to oversee the market.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation announced that digital marking "only for liquids for electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), including nicotine-free liquids, in cartridges, capsules, and as part of disposable ENDS" may become mandatory from December 15. At the same time, the ministry separately specifies that "reusable electronic devices that heat these liquids or generate, for example, an aerosol from them, will not be subject to labeling", reports 1prime.
