Russian e-cigarette market enforces honest labeling policy
Several disposable e-cigarette dealers in Russia are clearing stock due to new regulations requiring honest labeling.

On March 23rd, 2FIRSTS learned from sources in the Russian e-cigarette market and several e-cigarette distributors and operators that multiple disposable e-cigarette distributors are currently clearing their inventory.


According to reports, several top brands in the Russian e-cigarette market are currently working to clear their inventory due to the impact of the Honest Label campaign. Russian distributors have also started rejecting products that do not have the Honest Label.

Starting from March 1st, the Russian government now requires wholesale importers of e-cigarettes to submit retail information of their products to the Honest Label System. As of April 1st, Russia will enforce the Honest Label policy for wholesale transactions, and e-cigarette products without labels will not be allowed through Russian customs.
