Smoore Stock Price Surges after FDA Approves NJOY's Menthol E-Cigarettes

Smoore International's stock price surges after FDA approval for menthol e-cigarettes in the US market.

According to Sina Finance news on June 24th, Smoore International (9.95, 0.58, 6.19%) (06969) opened higher in early trading, with a 7.15% increase in stock price, now trading at 10.04 Hong Kong dollars, with a trading volume of 1.14 billion Hong Kong dollars.

Recently, the FDA website announced the approval of four menthol e-cigarette products for sale in the US market. All four approved products are from NJOY, including two NJOY ACE products and two NJOY DAILY products.

Caitong Securities believes that the FDA's authorization of four menthol e-cigarettes under NJOY for sale in the US marks the first time it has approved flavored e-cigarettes besides tobacco for sale in the country. The FDA believes there is enough evidence to show that the authorized menthol e-cigarettes can help reduce exposure to harmful chemicals found in traditional cigarettes, demonstrating harm reduction potential. The benefits of switching completely from traditional cigarettes to products with less harm may outweigh the risks posed to teenagers.

Smoking Rate Drops to 17.9%, Vaping Rate Climbs to 9.3% in South Korea

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) released its 2025 Community Health Survey results covering more than 230,000 adults.
