Turkish Police Seize 327 VOZOL E-Cigarettes in Edirne Residence
Police in Edirne, Turkey, have discovered 327 VOZOL brand e-cigarettes in a residential property. An investigation is underway.

In recent days, according to Haberler news, a total of 327 e-cigarettes branded as VOZOL were discovered during a police search at a residential location in Edirne, Turkey. At present, local law enforcement authorities are conducting legal procedures against individuals suspected of involvement.

HM Revenue and Customs announced that from April 1, 2026, UK vaping product manufacturers, importers and warehousekeepers can apply for approval under Vaping Products Duty (VPD) and the Vaping Duty Stamps Scheme (VDS). Under new GOV.UK guidance, Vaping Products Duty will take effect on October 1, 2026 and will apply to all vaping liquids, whether they contain nicotine or not.

Delaware Governor Matt Meyer’s proposed FY2027 budget would significantly raise cigarette and nicotine product taxes to help close a $500 million budget gap and generate new revenue. Concerns about the effects of vaping on young people and public health were raised at County Hall, the report said, with Cllr Chris Jarman saying it may one day be viewed as “akin to asbestos.” Jarman cited NHS-related research and a case highlighted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust: a 15-year-old admitted with chest pain and breathing difficulty who reported cannabis use and vaping about 500 puffs per day and was diagnosed via CT with “air leak syndrome.”
