Vicarage City Receives £475K Government Funding for Smoke-Free Generation
Wigan City in the UK will receive a government grant of approximately £475,000 to create a "smoke-free generation" in response to the proposed smoking ban for children under 14.

According to a report in the UK newspaper Today Wigan on November 20th, the city of Wigan will receive a government grant of approximately £475,000 to establish a "smoke-free generation". This move is in response to the recent ban on smoking proposed by the UK government, aimed at restricting children aged 14 and under from legally purchasing cigarettes in England.
