【By 2Firsts】As of June 1, 2025, the UK has officially implemented a ban on disposable e-cigarettes, prohibiting the sale and distribution of all such products within the country.
By June 26, nearly a month into the ban, 2Firsts' investigation found that on VAPE CLUB, a well-known UK e-cigarette retail platform, all ELFBAR AF5000 products were listed as "sold out." The platform prominently noted on the product page that disposable e-cigarettes are now banned in the UK and that the ELFBAR AF5000 has been officially discontinued. The ELFBAR AF5000, a typical “2+10” design, was previously one of the best-selling disposable vapes in the UK market.

On another local vape retail platform, Vape.uk, the ELFBAR AF5000 is also marked as discontinued.

Meanwhile, on ELFBAR’s official UK website, the ELFBAR AF5000 is listed as “out of stock,” but the page also features a preview of the upcoming replaceable pod version of the AF5000. This new product retains the original design and naming, suggesting it may be intended as a compliant alternative for the market.
