Bangladesh Temporarily Bans Import of E-Cigarettes and ENDS Devices

Bangladesh bans the import of e-cigarettes and ENDS as a measure to protect public health and future generations.

According to a report from Prothomalo on December 12th, the temporary government of Bangladesh has decided to add e-cigarettes and Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) to the list of banned imported items.

This decision was made at the advisory committee meeting on the 12th, chaired by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. The policy change, led by the Ministry of Health, aims to ban the import of e-cigarettes.

The Ministry of Health pointed out that the ban is aimed at protecting public health and preventing harm from e-cigarette products for future generations.
