BAT Japan's glo hyper X2: 1000 Yen Price Reduction

British American Tobacco Japan lowers prices of glo hyper X2 heated tobacco devices, reducing retail price from 1980 to 980 yen.

According to a report on Kakaku on March 1, British American Tobacco Japan has reduced the price of its heated tobacco device, glo hyper X2. The suggested retail price has been lowered from 1980 yen to 980 yen, resulting in a discount of 1000 yen.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial interviewed Fred Monteiro, Regional Director for Americas and Europe at British American Tobacco (BAT). Monteiro said BAT supports setting regulatory limits for nicotine products but opposes Spain’s proposed 0.99mg nicotine-per-pouch limit, arguing that such a restriction could affect adult smokers’ transition to alternatives.
