ATIC said Cerletti brings nearly two decades of experience with JTI, including senior leadership roles at the company’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as across Asia and the Pacific. ATIC said his tenure is expected to further strengthen the association’s role as a collaborative hub bringing together tobacco operators, government agencies and key stakeholders in Cambodia to address industry challenges and support sustainable growth in contribution to economic development.

Cerletti expressed appreciation for the contributions of his predecessor, Miguel Barros Figueira, General Manager of Imperial Brands Plc., and said ATIC’s progress reflects the dedication of successive leadership teams and the Board of Directors. Cerletti said he would work closely with policymakers, regulators and industry partners, focusing on dialogue, compliance with national regulations and transparency in operations, and that stronger cooperation can support Cambodia’s economic development and a fairer business environment.
