China's E-cigarette Exports Reach 2.03 Million Tons in July 2023
China's e-cigarette exports in July reached 20,300,718 kilograms, a YoY increase of 48.71%, but export value decreased by 1.68%.

According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, the export volume of e-cigarettes in July 2023 reached 20,300,718 kilograms, equivalent to 2.03 million metric tons, with a month-on-month increase of 3.21% and a year-on-year increase of 48.71%. Since April, although the monthly export volume has fluctuated, the overall export volume has remained around 2 million metric tons.

 

It is noteworthy that while the export volume of e-cigarette products has increased, the export value has decreased. In July, the export value of e-cigarette products from China was approximately $926 million (approximately RMB 6.661 billion), which is a decrease of 1.68% compared to June 2023, but an increase of 8.01% compared to the same period in 2022.
