China's E-cigarette Exports to Hungary Soar in September 2023
According to the updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export data to Hungary in September 2023. The details are as follows:
The export volume reached approximately $8.85 million, registering a month-on-month increase of 46.88% and a year-on-year increase of 166.48%.
The export volume is approximately 177 tons, representing a month-on-month increase of 35.76% and a year-on-year increase of 673.49%.
The export unit price dropped by 8.20% month-on-month and 65.55% year-on-year, reaching $49.97 per kilogram. Additionally, the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" was $53.96 per unit.
Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" accounted for 1.22% of the export category, while "non-combustible products without tobacco or reconstituted tobacco containing nicotine" accounted for 98.78% of the total.
According to forecasts from Statista, the e-cigarette market in Hungary is expected to generate revenue of $97.6 million by 2023. The market is projected to have an annual growth rate of 3.88% between 2023 and 2028. Per capita e-cigarette consumption in Hungary is estimated to reach $10.64 in 2023. Despite the increasing popularity of e-cigarettes globally, the market for these products in Hungary remains relatively small and underdeveloped.
