Correction and Apology Regarding Two Erroneous Reports

Jun.27

Dear 2Firsts Readers,

I am Alan Zhao, Co-founder and CEO of 2Firsts.

Today, we received a letter from a reader pointing out factual inaccuracies in two recently published articles on the 2Firsts website. After internal review by our editorial team, we confirm that the errors are valid. We hereby provide a detailed correction and extend our sincere apologies to our readers and the companies mentioned.

I. Corrections

1.  In the article published on June 10, 2025, titled “Transparent Cartridge Design, 10,000 Puffs: GEEKBAR Launches ‘2+10’ Vape Product”, the GEEKBAR UP 10000 was mistakenly identified as a “disposable” product. This error resulted from editorial oversight and a lack of understanding regarding the classification of “2+10” type products.

2.  In the article published on April 25, 2025, titled “Compatible with Ceramic and Mesh Coils: GEEKBAR Unveils Pod System with Display Screen”, the claim that the product could not be found in the MHRA database was incorrect. The mistake stemmed from a failure to account for spacing in the English product name during the database search.

Both of the aforementioned articles have now been taken down.

II. Apology

On behalf of the entire 2Firsts editorial team, I sincerely apologize to all readers and the companies involved. These mistakes highlight shortcomings in both our editorial professionalism and our fact-checking mechanisms.

We are fully aware that the influence 2Firsts holds today is built on the long-term trust and support of our readers. This influence is not a privilege—it is a responsibility. We must uphold higher standards of accuracy and integrity in every report we produce. The issues identified today show that we still fall short of that responsibility.

We will reflect deeply and take these incidents as a serious warning. Moving forward, we will reinforce our internal review procedures and continue enhancing our team’s expertise in both the industry and journalism. Our goal remains to deliver more accurate, valuable information to the global industry.

At the same time, we extend an open invitation to industry professionals: We warmly welcome experts from all fields to join the 2Firsts Advisory Board to help us ensure the accuracy and quality of our reporting and promote a more informed industry dialogue.

2Firsts will also implement a formal correction protocol and dedicated section to promptly publish corrections and uphold the accuracy and integrity of our reporting.

We are grateful to the reader who brought these issues to our attention, and we welcome continued feedback and oversight from all our readers. If you have any comments, suggestions, or are interested in contributing to 2Firsts’ editorial efforts, please feel free to contact me directly at Alan@2firsts.com.

Sincerely,

Alan Zhao
