E-cigarette Awareness Event in Granada Before World No Tobacco Day
Granada health centers organize e-cigarette event to raise awareness on smoking hazards before World No Tobacco Day.

According to local Spanish media Teleprensa, on May 16th, a event focused on e-cigarettes was organized by the Flores-Figares, Zaidín-Centro, and Góngora health centers in Andalusia, Spain. The event aimed to discuss the harms of smoking and e-cigarettes with the public before World No Tobacco Day on May 31st, as well as effective methods for quitting smoking.

 

The event includes health prevention activities and seminars, as well as information exchanges on healthy aging, children's sun protection, and healthy walking. These activities are supported by the Granada Metropolitan Health Region, the Granada City Council, the Department of Health and Consumer Rights, the Sedin Residents' Association, the Red Cross, the Abihar Foundation, and the Center against Gender Violence.

 

More than 58,000 citizens have participated in the three health centers' activities.
