E-cigarette Store in Massachusetts Robbed, Teenagers Suspected
A vape shop in Framingham, Massachusetts was robbed by five individuals who smashed the windows and stole e-cigarette products.

According to NECN's report on December 26th, an e-cigarette store in Framingham, Massachusetts, was targeted by thieves.

 

In the surveillance footage, it can be seen that five individuals used stones to smash the glass windows of the Vape and Smoke store on Worcester Road in Birmingham. They subsequently entered the store and stole e-cigarette products within a mere minute before fleeing.

 

The Birmingham City Police stated that they believed the suspects to be a group of teenagers. Law enforcement attempted to track them with the K9 unit, but were unsuccessful.

 

Although the exact value of the stolen items is still being determined, the estimated loss is around $1,000.

Alexey Kurinny, deputy chair of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, said a pending bill to fully ban vapes would outlaw their production, sale, and consumption if enacted. Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin earlier noted the Duma intends to consider a total sales ban on vapes and e-liquids within two months, with fines for public use. ICA Intercepts Two Cases Involving HNB Sticks and Vapes at Changi; 2,400 Heat Sticks and 4 Vapes Seized
According to AsiaOne, Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) intercepted two separate attempts to bring large quantities of heat-not-burn (HNB) sticks and vapes into the country at Changi Airport on September 6. The cases involved a Romanian woman and a South Korean work-permit holder. In total, 2,400 HNB sticks and four e-vaporisers were seized. Both cases have been referred to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) for investigation.
