Egypt imposes a tariff of 2 Egyptian pounds (0.032USD) per milliliter of e-cigarette liquid, and the tobacco rods are subject to value-added tax as normal items.
Egypt Clarifies Customs Duties on E-cigarette Oil

 

According to the Egyptian Custom's response to e-cigarette dealers, Egypt has confirmed the tax to be paid on e-cigarette oil, which is 2 Egyptian pounds (0.032USD)  per milliliter of e-liquid, and the scope of the levy includes nicotine-containing cigarettes of various flavors oil and nicotine-free e-juice.

 

Tobacco sticks are subject to VAT as normal items.

 

In addition, Egypt will deduct 10% of each sales unit's price from retail terminal sales to support the health insurance system.

 

It is reported that Egypt will include the definition of e-cigarettes and heated tobacco in the implementation regulations of the "Law on Prevention of Smoking Harm" in 2021, officially lifting the ban on e-cigarettes.
