EVO NXT: Visitors start the spring with a major knowledge advantage

Business Festival provides important input with top-class programme

These are the topics that move - and influence - the NGP industry: from tobacco harm reduction and sustainability to international regulations. And that is precisely why these are also the topics the programme of EVO NXT in Milan focuses on. The innovative business festival will take place on 3 and 4 April and will enable visitors to start the spring with a head start in terms of knowledge. High-calibre speakers from various sectors of the industry will ensure this.

Dortmund, 20 March 2025 – The list of speakers is not only long, but also peppered with well-known names. Experts from big industry players will be attending - for example from British American Tobacco, Imperial Brands, ICE and Dholakia Tobacco as well as from Tobacco Europe, the European umbrella organisation for manufacturers of tobacco and nicotine products. The major industry associations will also be sending their representatives to Italy to provide EVO NXT visitors with the latest insights: the Independent European Vape Alliance (IEVA), the UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA), the Alliance for Tobacco-Free Enjoyment (BfTG), the German Tobacco and Novel Products Association (BVTE), the European Confederation of Tobacco Retailers (C. E.D.T.), the Nordic Nicotine Pouches Alliance (NNPA.EU), the European Cannabis Association (ECA) and the ECCC (Electronic Cigarette Professional Committee of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce) are among the organisations involved.

Speakers from Sanova, a broad-based healthcare company, Euromonitor International (market research on consumer goods, economic sectors, demographic trends and lifestyles in Europe), Applied Research and Analysis Company, LLC (ARAC), a US behavioural science research company, and TobaccoIntelligence (market and regulatory analysis, legal monitoring and quantitative data for the global tobacco and nicotine alternatives sector) will also provide valuable contributions with scientific approaches.

On Thursday (3 April), the EVO NXT Stage will feature topics such as ‘Outlook on the EU and Key Global Markets: Analysis of Market and Regulatory Developments in Alternative Tobacco Products’, ‘Navigating the ever-changing global regulatory landscape’, ‘Innovation and sustainability: harm reduction and health policies’ and ‘Regulatory Pathways to Market: What Drives Global Product Success? Considerations from the oral nicotine sector’. In the Vision Room, where the interactive masterclasses and round tables will take place, visitors will have the chance to attend the following events, for example: ‘Vape Trends & Innovation: What's Now and What's NXT!’ and ‘Deep Dive: European Cannabis Association - Sustainable Solutions for the NGP industry’.

The Mission Mixologist Battle and the Get Together Event will also take place on this day. These are two events that prioritise the live experience on the one hand and networking on the other. Visitors should not miss out on these unique opportunities.

On Friday (4 April), the EVO NXT Stage will focus on the following topics, among others: ‘The Shift in Tobacco Industry, Innovations in Tobacco harm reduction’, ‘Heated Tobacco - Evidence Supporting Its Role in Tobacco Harm Reduction’, ‘Shaping the Future of Nicotine Pouch Regulation: Safety, Policy, and Harm Reduction’ and ‘Global Gateways: Turning Regulations into Opportunity’. In the Vision Room, the event titles include ‘EU Nicotine Pouch Report: Regulatory and Market developments across the European Union’ and ‘GINN Masterclass: Advanced Product Design and Packaging Innovation’. The innovative hybrid format ‘Eyes on Brussels’ will also take place on this day at 12:00 hrs. Nathalie Darge, Secretary General of Tobacco Europe, and Filip Haugland, EU Affairs Expert, will give an update on the most important political developments in Brussels and across the EU and discuss the impact on the nicotine industry with live guests and online viewers.
