Illegal Vape Seizure in Palmerston: Australian Police Crackdown
Northern Territory Police seize illegal substances including cannabis and 2335 nicotine e-cigarettes in Palmerston area. Two suspects identified.

According to miragenews report on February 3rd, at around noon on January 31, 2025, the Northern Territory Police received intelligence that there were illegal substances at a residence in the Palmerston area of Australia. Subsequently, officers from the Serious Crime Investigation Unit went to the location and conducted a search of the residence, during which a large quantity of illegal items were seized, including cannabis and 2335 nicotine e-cigarettes, estimated to be worth around $140,000 Australian dollars (approximately $85,000 USD).


According to Northern Territory police, this operation was the result of collaboration between the Serious Crime Investigation Unit, the K-9 unit, and the Drug and Organized Crime Division. Additionally, police stated that the success of this operation was also due to the information provided by members of the community.


Currently, a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman have been issued court summons by the authorities for their alleged involvement with illegal items in question.
