JT said Nordic Spirit Cola Fizz Medium will begin early sales via the CLUB JT online shop starting March 3, 2026, and will be rolled out sequentially from April 6 through nationwide channels including 7-Eleven, Lawson, and NewDays.

JT also stated that Nordic Spirit Berry Mix Medium is expected to go on sale via the CLUB JT online shop around mid-March.

JT said Nordic Spirit is a nicotine pouch that can be used by placing a pouch in the mouth, enabling easy refresh use anytime and anywhere (while noting that use should follow local government rules and the judgment of facility administrators). JT also said it can be used hands-free, and described the taste as lasting about 30 minutes.

As for flavors, JT said Cola Fizz Medium features a sparkling, deep sweetness and a cola taste; Berry Mix Medium features a rich, sweet-and-sour profile, with blackcurrant and wild berry flavors.

In addition, JT said in its press release that it plans to launch more new flavors in the future, and stated that starting with these two product launches, it aims to meet diverse customer needs while working to provide more satisfying products and improve services.

It is also reported that Nordic Spirit is a brand acquired by Japan Tobacco in 2018, and its market focus has long been in Europe. Prior to this, Japan’s nicotine pouch market was primarily dominated by British American Tobacco (BAT)’s brand VELO.

Imperial Tobacco Canada Responds to Anti-Smoking Groups on Youth Vaping
Imperial Tobacco Canada responded to the April 17 press conference by anti-smoking groups by calling for a more focused, fact-based discussion on youth vaping that targets the illicit market. The company said youth should not be using nicotine products and that it supports strong measures to prevent youth access, but argued that the discussion failed to clearly distinguish between the regulated market and the illicit market that is driving youth access.
