Kola Karim Appointed as Chairman of BAT Nigeria's Advisory Committee
Kola Karim, the current Agbaoye of Ibadan, will take over as the Chairman of BAT Nigeria's Advisory Council from November 1, 2023.

British American Tobacco Nigeria (BAT Nigeria) has announced that Kola Karim will assume the role of Chairman of its Advisory Committee starting from November 1, 2023. Currently, Karim serves as the Agbaoye of Ibadan land and holds a managerial position within the company.

KT&G has approved a plan to establish a branch in Guatemala, which will serve as its first local base in Central and South America. Philip Morris International said it is selling its stake in Swedish Match do Brasil, which controls the Brazilian household goods brand Fiat Lux. Austria will introduce new sales rules for nicotine products from April 1, 2026.
