PMI launches IQOS Iluma i One in the UK, compatible with TEREA tobacco sticks

According to Convenience Store, Philip Morris Limited (PML), the UK affiliate of Philip Morris International (PMI), said it has launched the latest device in its IQOS heated tobacco portfolio in the UK—the IQOS Iluma i One—further expanding its smoke-free product offering.

 

The report said the Iluma range uses a bladeless induction-heating technology, the Smartcore Induction System, to heat tobacco to deliver “real tobacco taste and satisfaction,” and said it reduces harmful chemicals compared with traditional cigarettes.

 

PML said the Iluma i One introduces a number of new features to increase flexibility, including a touchscreen, AutoStart and FlexPuff, with the device adapting to how consumers use it.

The 2025 edition of the IQOS Iluma i One has also been updated in terms of exterior design.

According to the report, the Iluma lineup currently available in the UK includes the Iluma i, Iluma Prime and the latest Iluma i One devices.

 

The new device is designed for use with TEREA tobacco sticks, including the newly introduced Pearls range.

 

Boris Ozcan, PML’s head of smoke-free products, said that since the company launched the relevant products in the UK in September 2019, IQOS Iluma has played an important role in advancing its “smoke-free future” strategy.
