Their intention is to install e-cigarette detectors in the restrooms of middle schools and high schools. Research shows that a significant number of students may opt to use e-cigarettes in the restrooms, which could have negative implications for other students with health concerns who frequent these areas.

This measure aims to address the issue of teenage e-cigarette abuse.
