PMI Japan Launches KT&G lil HYBRID 3.0 Device
PMJ introduces new lil HYBRID 3.0 device by KT&G, set to launch in Japan through various channels in April 2025.

Philip Morris International (PMI) Japan has launched the "lil HYBRID 3.0" heated tobacco device manufactured by KT&G from South Korea.

The product will be available for sale starting on April 15, 2025, through the official IQOS website, four IQOS stores nationwide, and several retail channels, priced at 3980 Japanese yen (27 USD) including tax.

In January 2023, KT&G renewed a 15-year supply contract with PMI to sell its three HNB products through PMI's global network (excluding South Korea).


According to a report from Dime.jp on April 3, Philip Morris International (PMI) Japan announced the launch of a new heat-not-burn tobacco device called "lil HYBRID 3.0," manufactured by KT&G in South Korea. The product will be available starting April 15, 2025, through the official IQOS website, four IQOS stores nationwide, and various retail channels, priced at 3,980 Japanese yen (including tax) (27 USD).

 

PMJ stated at the product launch event, "PMJ will continue to strive to provide products and services with higher satisfaction for smokers aged 20 and above, in order to achieve the vision of a 'smoke-free society'.

 

In January 2023, KT&G and PMI signed a renewed 15-year supply contract. KT&G will distribute its three HNB products, "lil Solid," "lil Hybrid," and "lil Aible," through PMI's global sales networks outside of Korea.
