Thailand Offers $90 Bounty for Illegal E-Cigarette Reports
Thailand has launched a public enforcement initiative offering cash rewards of up to $90 for reporting illegal e-cigarette use or sales.

According to The Phuket News reported on April 20th, the Thai government has recently implemented a reward mechanism to encourage the public to report illegal e-cigarette use and sales through the "Thang Rath" mobile application.

 

Whistleblowers are eligible to receive 60% of the fines collected, with a maximum reward of 3,000 Thai Baht (90 US dollars) for each successful report. This initiative aims to enhance e-cigarette regulation enforcement through public participation.
