Starting this month, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) has officially implemented a smoke-free campus policy.

The director of the public health department at UNLV announced that the decision to become a smoke-free campus has been in the works for quite some time. The policy applies to all campuses of UNLV as well as any other buildings or facilities under UNLV control.
Sean stated that appropriate measures will be taken to deal with those who do not adhere to the guidelines, including providing written guidance or requiring them to attend educational courses on the dangers of smoking.
