VUSE GO: Newest Product at Dortmund Tobacco Exhibition
2FIRSTS visited BAT's booth at the Dortmund tobacco expo and interviewed Daniel, who mentioned market changes and upcoming VUSE GO product launch.

On September 17th, 2FIRSTS frontline staff visited the BAT (British American Tobacco) booth at the Dortmund tobacco fair, where they interviewed Daniel, the person in charge.

2FIRSTS Interviews Daniel.

Daniel expressed that the past two years have been greatly impacted by the pandemic, with only participating in some online trade shows to barely maintain retail operations. Therefore, returning to the Dortmund tobacco expo this time is seen as a joyful event. Compared to the previous Dortmund tobacco expo, some changes in market structure were observed at this event. Daniel mentioned that "we can now see more small companies. Some of the big companies, who used to always exhibit as major suppliers, did not show up this time around.

During a discussion about products, a 2FIRSTS employee was drawn to a large "VUSE GO" poster displayed on a wall. They picked up the VUSE GO product from a display rack at the front desk and discovered that it was only the packaging. Daniel explained that it was just a demo and that the VUSE GO was going to be released soon. The poster below clearly stated "COMING SOON.

According to reports, VUSE GO is a disposable e-cigarette product launched as part of the VUSE series and is only available in a limited market. The official VUSE website states that VUSE GO comes in six different flavors, including watermelon, mango, blueberry, strawberry, mint, and creamy tobacco. Each device can be used for up to 500 puffs and comes in two variants with nicotine concentrations of 10mg and 20mg. In the UK, a single VUSE GO is priced at £5.99, while a package of six is available for £20.

According to reports, VUSE has surpassed JUUL as the top-selling e-cigarette in the United States this August. Even earlier, on July 27th, British American Tobacco announced during its half-year financial report that VUSE GO would be widely distributed throughout the European market in the second half of the year. The posters displayed on the wall at a tobacco exhibition in Dortmund seem to suggest that the full release of VUSE GO in Europe is not far away.

His comments came after Belgium’s Constitutional Court ruled that a government ban on cigarette and vape sales in supermarkets was discriminatory because it allowed small shops to sell tobacco products while prohibiting larger retailers from doing so.
