2023 E-cigarette Export Data from China to the Netherlands
According to the latest trade data updated by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export data from China to the Netherlands in September 2023. The details are as follows:
The export volume amounted to approximately $35.72 million, marking a decrease of 10.37% compared to the previous period and an increase of 5.70% year on year.
The export volume reached approximately 982 tons, with a month-on-month increase of 0.66% and a year-on-year increase of 124.92%.
The export unit price decreased by 10.95% month-on-month and 53.00% year-on-year, reaching $36.35 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" stood at $8.78 per unit.
Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" accounted for 2.94% of the export category, while "non-combustible products that do not contain tobacco or reconstituted tobacco but contain nicotine for inhalation" accounted for 97.06%.
According to data from Statista, the revenue of the e-cigarette market in the Netherlands is projected to reach $325.6 million by 2023. The market is expected to have an annual growth rate of 3.66% from 2023 to 2028. In terms of per capita consumption, it is estimated that the average expenditure in 2023 will be $20.61, relative to the total population. The Netherlands has a thriving e-cigarette market, however, it is currently facing government regulations and restrictions on flavors.
