China's E-cigarette Exports to Germany in September 2023
According to the latest trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export figures from China to Germany in September 2023. The details are as follows:
The export volume amounted to approximately $65.93 million, representing a sequential decrease of 17.83% and a year-on-year decline of 8.29%.
The export volume reached approximately 1,073 tons, showing a month-on-month increase of 6.98% and a year-on-year growth of 69.44%.
The export unit price decreased by 23.18% month-on-month and 45.87% year-on-year to $61.47 per kilogram. The average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" is $23.59 per unit.
Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" accounted for 43.38% of the export product category, while "non-combustible products containing nicotine and not made from tobacco or reconstituted tobacco" accounted for 56.62%.
According to data from Statista, it is predicted that the revenue of the e-cigarette market in Germany will reach $1.1 billion in 2023. The market is expected to have an annual growth rate of 0.85% (compound annual growth rate from 2023 to 2028). When considering the total population, the per capita e-cigarette consumption in Germany is $15.15. In recent years, the prevalence of e-cigarettes in Germany has significantly increased, with more and more smokers considering e-cigarettes as a substitute for traditional tobacco products.
