Analysis of China's E-cigarette Export to Russia in September 2023
Chinese e-cigarette exports to Russia in September 2023 reached $33.3 million, with a 5.56% MoM increase and a 24.05% YoY decrease.

According to the updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has analyzed the e-cigarette exports to Russia in September 2023. The details are as follows:

The export volume reached approximately 33.3 million dollars, recording a month-on-month increase of 5.56% but a year-on-year decline of 24.05%.

The export volume was approximately 709 tons, marking a sequential growth of 3.34% but a year-on-year decline of 1.99%.

The export unit price increased by 2.14% to $46.96 per kilogram, but decreased by 22.51% compared to the same period last year. The average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" was $8.16 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" accounted for 21.37% of the export category, while "non-combustible products containing nicotine, without tobacco or reconstituted tobacco" accounted for 78.63%.

According to data from Statista, it is predicted that the revenue of the e-cigarette market in Russia will reach $1.1 billion by 2023. The market is expected to have an annual growth rate of 2.80% from 2023 to 2028. Taking into account the total population figures, it is estimated that the per capita consumption in Russia will be approximately $8.93 in 2023. With increasing consumer demand and tightening regulations, the e-cigarette market in Russia is beginning to transition from rapid growth.
